VoqText aims to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA across the marketing site and the product. Accessibility is part of the definition of done for every feature; this statement lists what is implemented and what is still being worked on.
In place
- Keyboard operation for navigation, the uploader tabs, the transcript editor, menus and dialogs, with visible focus styles.
- Light, dark and system themes with contrast audited against the Ocean Breeze palette; status conveyed by text, not color alone.
- Screen-reader labels on controls, live regions for processing status and save status, and semantic landmarks.
- Reduced-motion preferences respected for scrolling and transitions.
- 14 interface languages including right-to-left Arabic.
Known gaps
- Automated accessibility tests (axe-core, WCAG 2.2 AA) run before releases but are not yet part of continuous integration; visual regression tests do not exist yet.
- Media player controls are minimal and the player does not overlay captions; the synchronized transcript beside the player serves that purpose, and Subtitle Studio previews caption cues.
